By accessing or using DamLogics (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including individual practitioners and organisations.
2. Description of Service
DamLogics is a professional engineering platform designed to support dam and levee safety risk assessments (L2RA), potential failure mode (PFM) registration, risk elicitation, and related workflows. The Service is intended solely for use by qualified engineering professionals and the organisations they represent.
3. User Accounts & Registration
Access to the Service requires an invitation from an existing organisation administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information up to date. Accounts may not be shared or transferred without prior written consent from DamLogics.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service for any purpose other than professional engineering risk assessment work
- Upload data that you do not have the right to process
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform
5. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your organisation is the data controller for all project data. DamLogics processes that data on your organisation's behalf as a data processor.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, content, and design, is owned by DamLogics and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant DamLogics a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DamLogics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided as a tool to support engineering workflows and does not constitute engineering advice. All professional judgements remain the responsibility of the qualified engineers using the platform.
8. Termination
DamLogics reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if continued access is deemed harmful to the platform or its users. You may also request account deletion at any time via your
profile settings.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DamLogics operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
